Vee's ORGANIC GALAPAGOS - San Cristóbal

https://vees-coffee.com/img/cms/special-thumbs/euro_logo-18mm-2.png San Cristóbal or Chatham is the easternmost of the Galapagos Islands. Here, top coffees are grown in controlled organic cultivation on very fertile, heavily eroded volcanic rock. The best Arabica Bourbon coffee plants are originally from Guatemala. The San Cristobal is therefore very full-bodied with velvety, almost perfect fullness and fine, fruity acidity as well as spicy-nutty aromas and an intense taste of dark chocolate.

San Cristóbal coffee is produced only in small quantities only and is therefore not always available.

Certified organically cultivated coffee [DE-ÖKO-001]

Vee's GUATEMALA - Genuine Antigua (Vee's GUATEMALA - Echter Antigua)

Guatemala produces one of the world's best coffees in the area of the ancient capital Antigua. Altitudes of 1800m and above, regular rainfall and fertile volcanic soil provide first-class climatic conditions. Sunny days and cool nights make the coffee at high altitudes grow slower under shady trees and refine the characteristic flavour profile. In addition, beans from high altitudes are harder and tolerate a darker roast to fully develop the aroma. Our "Genuine Antigua" is full-bodied with exquisite, almost perfect fullness and fine, vivid acidity as well as spicy flavours and nuances of chocolate.

Vee's JAVA - Genuine Blue Java (Vee's JAVA - Echter Blauer Java)

Java has been producing coffee since the Dutch planted the first Arabica trees in their Batavia colony over 300 years ago. The best "Blue Java" is produced on one of the four estate plantations Blawan, Jampid, Kayumas and Pankur. The wet-processed coffee from Java lacks the taste of "forest soil" (mushrooms, moss, autumn leaves), which characterizes the coffees from Sumatra and especially those from Sulawesi. Java has an intense, syrup-like richness with aromas of nuts and bitter-sweet chocolate, as well as hints of black pepper.

Vee's SUMATRA - Lintong

In contrast to the large coffee plantations in Java, the coffee on Sumatra Island is mainly cultivated by countless smallholder farms. Due to a large number of coffee farmers, the coffee from  Sumatra varies in quality. Therefore we only offer this coffee if we manage to buy first-class quality. The coffee cherries are sun-dried on the ground (dry preparation) so that the coffee beans absorb flavour components from the pulp and from the soil. The result of dry processing is a low-acid coffee with a powerful fullness. Our "Lintong" is a full-bodied coffee with concentrated earthy-sweet aromas and enhanced spicy nuances such as cinnamon and tropical woods.

Vee's KENYA - Top Massai (Vee's KENIA - Top Massai)

Kenya's reputation for producing the finest African coffee is unsurpassed. Enthusiasts refer to it as being the world's most flavoured coffee, the red Bordeaux wine among the coffees. Our Kenya grows directly at the equator, at the up to 2100m tall foothills of the 5199m tall Mount Kenya. The soil is volcanic, and the climatic conditions are ideal. The coffee is wonderfully aromatic with balanced fullness and red wine acidity. The persistent aromas are reminiscent of cherries and dark forest berries, blackberries and black currants.
